Online Reflection Portfolio Projects

The use of an online reflection portfolio tool can help students complete assignments and positively impact your teaching experience.

Introduction

The Portfolio tool available through the DLC can make it easy for students to create websites to showcase their work. Students can use Portfolio to highlight their coursework, create an online exhibition, present work to prospective colleges or employers, and share their interests with family and friends. Portfolio is the student/participant side of a two-part tool.

The second part of the tool, Portfolio Project Builder, allows instructors and advisers to create Portfolio projects for you to complete. Instructors/advisers can send you a Portfolio project either by an "invitation" or by sending or posting a URL. If you receive a Portfolio invitation on your Portfolio homepage, just click the title to access the Portfolio project.

If the instructor sends a URL by email or posts it on a web page, simply follow the link to install and access the Portfolio project. We will use a URL-invited project in another session.
