What are some excellent DLC resources for classroom teachers?
Introduction
Often times people do not notice the wealth of information on the DLC site. Before you "Get Started" with a resource, read the information to decide if it will be useful for you. The DLC website not only gives you access to resources, but it also helps you understand the value of each tool.
Getting Started
- Fill out your DLC Resource Jigsaw Worksheet while you explore the DLC site.
- Go to the Educators section and click on Teaching Resources to start your Jigsaw.
Share a Resource with a Partner
Directions
- Compare your descriptions with the information on the DLC site.
- Add additional notes to your DLC Resource Jigsaw Worksheet.
- Note the similarities and differences in how you, a classroom teacher, would describe the tool and how the DLC describes the tool.
- What would you need to feel comfortable using this resource to plan or directly with students?
